Since Valentine was doing a bunch of random things on her computer in her room between bites of cereal, it would only make sense for one of those things to be lurking around in one of the island's IM chatrooms. She wasn't exactly sure if anyone would even be around, on their computers, like her in the morning, but it wasn't as if she wasn't already there.

Valentine covered her mouth, which was a bit too late, since she'd already let out a bark of a laugh. She grinned a moment before a reply came.

demosthenes: If you are suggesting that the work of God is done through philosophers, I shall have to claim bull. Or at least return under Nietzsche and dutifully remind you of your demise.

And, really, this was the most fun Valentine had had in days, which on a certain level was probably kind of sad, but she didn't care.
